The Alabama Earthdog Club will have its annual event the third weekend in November. In preparation, Norma Mullins is promoting the event by offering training to earthdog hopefuls. Today she offered a class in Intro to Earthdog. We took the whole pack over to her home today for a really fun training experience. Attached is a HD video of the training today.
Winston was allowed to engage the rat in the quarry box, but we did not allow him to attempt to navigate a tunnel because we are worried the tunnel could stress his healing legs. Carly and Elliott had a blast as did Winston. If there ever was disney world for dogs, this is it!
We have been a little disappointed in the quality of video that blogspot allows us to upload so we are going to try a new site that allows for the upload of HD video. The site is called VIMEO. Earthdog is an AKC sanctioned event and great care is taken to insure the safety of the rats during training and competition.
