Shake, rattle and roll (well, sorta!)

Week 6 of puppy class! Brindee and Winston say "hello!"

Winston spies Jasmine's treats!

Winston practices "loose leash walking " in class.

Tonight Winston paired "loose leash walking" and "sit." Winston likes to face Mark to "sit," so we will have to work on sitting on the side.

Winston learned a new command with trainer,Lindsey: "Shake!"

Winston shows Mark what Lindsey taught him!

We are really enjoying Winston and blogging about his life. If you are following Winston's blog, please register. We would love to know who we are talking to. Sometimes I feel like I am writing into a black hole!

  1. Interesting that he likes to face Mark to sit... Cleo does better right in front of me too. It's the attention thing, I guess.
He's so cute, as usual. Greg LOVED the pix of him from last weekend!

  2. We had problems with sitting next to us too--especially since agility is all about watching---having a short dog makes it SO much harder! I watch my obedience and rally friends with big dogs and it is SO much easier for them--just put their hand down--we have to bend down. One of the best ways I taught Barclay was to have him sit next to something that keeps him from turning toward me. So practice next to a wall or fence--that seems to help and keeps them from turning forward....also have the food in his face immediately so he can't be wrong. Toni
