So, this pic looks a little crazy but Mark was on the other side trying to teach Winston to "catch" bits of food. It was funny to watch! Winston is getting better! He caught 2 in a row.
These hot days in July are perfect for a good nap! Here Winston and Elliott share the pet bed for a little R & R.
Our walk was a bit longer tonight that usual. Winston does NOT like the heat so keeping him motivated and moving during the walk is a chore. When we hit the home stretch heading back Winston kicks on the afterburner. He is like a horse heading to the barn! It is funny to watch. As soon as we enter the gate Winston always wants to plop down in the pond. I don't mind him getting in the pond but being the over protective mother that I am I worry about snakes!! Also, since we still don't have grass back there since the re-do of the pond,Winston gets a lot muddy afterwards. So we have the puppy pool for him to play in. He was happy to see that pool tonight when we got back!!!

One last quick pic again of the Kitties that need homes at our vets. Our vet found a home from one of the kitties but there are still 2 boys left. If you can help adopt them please call Pine Meadow Vet: 850-477-2194. Here is one the little guys:
